Trust as a Core Asset – The Role of Insurers in a Complex World
Global shifts in power, geopolitical tensions, technological upheavals – What impact do you see for msg and your clients in the insurance industry?
We are currently witnessing a profound reorganization of markets, systems, and technologies – accompanied by uncertainty and increasing complexity. But these very challenges also create opportunities: for new partnerships, innovative business models, and sustainable value creation. For us as an IT and consulting company, this means we must act with greater courage, clarity, and visibility to provide guidance. Those who shape the future now, instead of simply reacting, can make decisive impact – socially, economically, and technologically.
The most important asset for insurers is trust – it is the foundation of their business, and in times of global uncertainty, it becomes more central than ever. Insurers take on a responsibility that goes far beyond products and policies. It’s about reliability, long-term relationships, and providing security in a world full of risks.
Reliable technologies, smooth and customer-friendly processes, and real-time information – all these factors strengthen customers’ trust in their insurers. As an IT partner to the insurance industry, we provide the technological foundations that allow insurers to secure this trust even in challenging times.
What do you mean by reliable technologies, and how do you apply them specifically for your insurance clients?
AI, cloud, and other technologies are expanding the scope of automation – all the way to innovative approaches like Agentic Automation. These technologies become reliable for our insurance clients through the consistent adherence to current regulatory requirements such as the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and the AI Act. We thoroughly review all requirements and offer solutions that are both cyber-secure and fully compliant. This helps our clients make their processes more efficient and speed up decision-making. We rely on technologies that empower people. The goal is to relieve employees, meet customer expectations, and always remain transparent. This is the only way to build long-term trust – even in the digital space.
What can participants expect at inscom 2025?
With the insurance conference Munich, or inscom for short, we offer our insurance clients hands-on insights into current technological trends and regulatory developments. Best practices and in-depth learnings take center stage, as the challenges many companies face are often more similar than they might initially appear. This is precisely why open and trust-based exchange is so valuable. Our clients' feedback over the past 20 years – the entire time inscom has been held every two years – clearly shows how beneficial this event is for them.
